A devoted pet owner was vacationing in Mexico when he tuned in to a live video feed of the dog daycare center where his dog was being boarded just in time to see his dog being abused.
Mike rescued 1-and-a-half year old Leo from an abusive situation and promised to give him a wonderful forever home. So, when the devoted dog dad headed to vacation in Mexico, he chose to board his pet at Tails R Waggin Dog Daycare in Tallmadge, Ohio, a facility that offered live video streaming so he could check in on his pup any time, from anywhere.
When Mike tuned in to check on Leo, he was both horrified and angered by what he saw – the very person hired to pamper and spoil his beloved pup was abusing him, right before his eyes.
Mike watched as a daycare worker pinned Leo’s head to the ground, kicked the dog, dragged him by his neck, then kicked him again as she removed him from the play room.

Mike immediately called a family member to go pick up Leo. When his sister, Nancy picked up the dog, the daycare gave her a “report card” all about Leo’s day.
“They gave me a paper stating that Leo had fun the whole time he was there. He had no timeouts. He had no problems with them. He was playing well with the other dogs,” she told ABC15.
Following the incident, the Tails R Waggin franchise owner, Amy Beach, who owns both the Tallmadge and Macedonia locations, posted to Facebook that the incident was justified, then told the family that the employee in the video was fired following the incident.
It has since been revealed that no employee has been fired as daycare owner, Amy Beach, was the person seen in the video attacking Leo.
By Sunday, the daycare’s website and Facebook pages had been removed.
Mike immediately booked a return flight home and will take Leo to a veterinarian to rule out any possible injuries. It is unknown at this time if the family will press charges.
I agree with S. Imagine what happens when no one is looking if she isn’t even willing to can the person who did it. I would definitely take them to court and get that place closed down. No one’s pet should EVER be treated that way. It is not okay.

says:YES that wagging tail is such a sign of aggression. Any pet service provider that puts such labels on animals deserves a pass anyway. The place should have their doors closed permanently. How anyone could do that to a dog that already suffered abuse is beyond my comprehension.

says:First she says the treatment was “justified”? Such actions are never justified under any circumstances. Then she says the person who abused the dog was fired? If the actions were “justified”. Why was the worker fired? I have family in the area. They have been sent a copy of this post. Tails R Waggin Dog Daycare now has 3 less dogs to abuse. says:Charges should be pressed against AMY BEACH immediately. If she was bold and dumb enough to abuse someone’s dog ON CAMERA, imagine what she does when no one is watching?!? She proves once again HUMANS are the worst breed. I hope she rots in a cell and has to pay all of this poor dogs vet fees. She should NEVER allowed near an innocent, defenseless creature ever again, let alone own a business that “cares” for them. She’s lucky it wasn’t my dog, I would show her what karma means…
