Emma is a sweet 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier girl who has been living in a boarding facility for the past 4 years. She is quirky; loves toys, treats and cuddling. She is a very loyal little lady, who has been patiently waiting for her forever home.
The reason Emma has been living in a boarding facility is because she does not get along with small children, and once her previous owner had a baby, things were not working out very well. It was very saddening for her previous owner to have to give her up, but she knew it was for the best.
An ideal home for Emma would be for her to be the only dog, as she does not get along with other dogs, and no small children. Possibly, because she wants to be the only one receiving all of the cuddles and kisses!
She is a very smart girl, with so much personality! She knows Sit, Paw, and is currently working on High Five. She walks well on a leash (yet, when she sees a squirrel, hold on tightly! Her little 15 pound body will pull!!)
When one looks into her eyes, one will see a soul, and love that only wants to be given.
Emma is located in a Chicago suburb. She now has a Facebook page set up entitled Little Emma’s Journey to Forever , in hopes of finding her a home to spend the rest of her years and find someone who will need her as much as she needs them.
