As the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow, forcing shelters to close their doors to the public for the foreseeable future and causing rescue organizations to cancel crucial adoption and fundraising events, more people than ever before are stepping up to foster and adopt dogs in need.
Still, with millions of pets in shelters and rescues across the country, more help is needed. That’s why Busch Beer is offering a 3-month supply of free beer to anyone that fosters or adopts a dog during the COVID-19 crisis.
“Everyone could use a companion for the couch right now,” Busch Beer tweeted along with a picture of a puppy in a cardboard box of Busch Beer. “So if you foster (or adopt) a dog from Midwest Animal Rescue, we’ll give you 3 months’ worth of Busch to enjoy by their side.”
Busch Beer partnered with Midwest Animal Rescue & Services (MARS) to promote foster and adoption during the pandemic. Anyone who fills out an application with the organization between now and April 22 will have a shot at a three-month supply of Busch Beer and a loyal friend to enjoy it with.
For details on how to enter, visit Busch.com/fosterdogs.
The prize consists of a $100 pre-paid debit card which is intended to be used to purchase the beer, according to the company. But we all know the real prize is the four-legged family member you’ll welcome into your home.
