Must-See Video: A Funky New Approach to Promoting Dog Adoption

We’re absolutely in love with the latest trend in promoting dog adoption – making it fun!

Shelters and rescue organizations are taking a new approach these days. While the sad, heartbreaking, “Sarah McLachlan” type ads and videos of the past pulled at our heartstrings and brought up feelings of guilt and sadness, rescuers are more and more often highlighting the fun side of rescue, adoption, and pet parenthood.

Shelters are posting fun, personality photos of the dogs in their care. They’re taking a more positive approach. They’re getting the word out that saving dogs is the cool thing to do – and it’s working.
