Loba

I’ll never, ever understand how someone can abandon a dog – especially a senior – after being with them for so many years. That’s the case with Loba, a 17-year old German Shepherd currently looking for a new home.

From the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page:

My name is Loba and I’m an approximately 17 year old female germ shepherd. I am not yet spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since August 18, 2014. I am available on August 18, 2014. You can visit me at my temporary home at C118.

My former family who owned me for more than 5 years had to give me up because they couldn’t afford the care I need. But they said that I spend most of my time outdoors, but it’s not ideal. I seem to be good with small children. I have not been housetrained. I am good on a leash. I may need obedience class. I seem to get along well with dogs.

Loba’s PetHarbor adoptable pet listing can be found here: http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=LACO1.A4746861

She is currently being cared for by the Carson Shelter in Gardena, California.
