Recall Alert2

Addiction Foods has voluntarily recalled certain lots of two varieties of their canned dog foods after internal testing revealed elevated levels of Vitamin A and a slight variance in calcium/phosphorus ratios.

Although there have been no reports of animal health concerns, elevated levels of Vitamin A fed over an extended period of time can result in health issues, particularly in young animals.

The affected products were shipped to distributors and online retailers between February 11, 2016 and March 19, 2016.

Recalled products include:

Addiction New Zealand Brushtail & Vegetables Canned Dog Food Entree, 13.8oz/390g
UPC Code – 8 885004 070028
Lot Number – 8940:02Dec2018
Expiration Date – December 2018

UPC Code – 8 885004 070462

Expiration Date – December 2018

Pet owners feeding the above recalled products should discontinue feeding immediately and return any unused cans to the place of purchase for a refund.

Questions should be directed to Addiction Pet Foods at 425-251-0330 or through email at [email protected]. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm PST.
