Yesterday was a fun day in D.C. when the Obamas gave military families a first look as the White House Christmas decorations. Even First Dogs, Bo and Sunny, both Portuguese Water Dogs, were invited to the event being held in The State Dining Room.

But, it seems 1-year old Sunny was more interested in the Christmas cookies than the festivities and accidentally knocked over a 2-year old little girl trying to get to them. Whoops!

Sunny quickly offered puppy kisses in apology for the mishap.

First Lady, Michelle Obama rushed to her aide and the little girl, Ashtyn Gardner, daughter of John Gardner, a member of the United States Navy, was just fine.

And, she’s got a great story to tell!

Check out the video below and sneak a peek at the White House Christmas decorations in the video below:

The dog didn’t knock her over, she back up and trip on the walker of the boy beside her. Please look at the video first before making unpleasant comments. The girl was surprised to see the dog beside her and she back up.
