A Missouri dog on a mission to find a playmate took matters into his own paws, escaped from home and ran more than a mile to his friends at doggy daycare.
A St. Ann, Missouri doggy daycare had an unexpected visitor last week when a dog who frequents the fun establishment decided he wanted to go back.
Surveillance footage from inside Happy Tails Pet Hotel and Playland captured Hugo, a dog that lives more than a mile from the daycare, excitedly bursting through the front door and looking for friends to play with.
It’s scary to think of Hugo running more than a mile, across some busy streets and medians to get to “school,”, but, luckily he arrived safely and since employees knew the excited pup, he was quickly reunited with his family.
