The big second season premiere of Debra Messing’s hit television show, Smash, isn’t the only thrilling event in her life right now!

Excited about the newest addition in her life, Debra Tweeted to fans, “LOVIN’ on our new puppy:) Say hi to Henry!”

The adorable actress posted this sweet WhoSay photo of herself embracing the precious little pup.

Debra and her husband Daniel Zelman are welcoming the little guy into their family that already includes one fluffy white pup, a Coton de Tulearg named Laila, whom Messing calls “her daughter.”

Congratulations, Debra, on your newest addition. We know you’ll give Henry a wonderful, happy life and that Laila will be a great big sister!

Fans of the famous dog-loving red-head can catch Smash Tuesday nights at 9pm EST on NBC.

You need to update your info. I think Debra and Daniel divorced last year…

Yes, no mention of whether she adopted or bought and that looks very much like real fur. Someone merely getting a dog isn’t news-worthy and it’s only shameful news-worthy if they’re wearing a fur coat while buying a dog.

Did she adopt this puppy or purchase from a breeder?
