Meet the newest group of talented dogs taking their special skills to the extreme and earning their place as Guinness World Records holders!

All dogs have their own set of special skills, from drug-sniffing working dogs, to skateboarding bulldogs, supremely talented couch-potato pups, and lightning-fast chow hounds,  if you look hard enough, you’ll find that one special skill in any dog.

For four incredible dogs around the world, those special skills earned them Guinness World Records!

The most jump-rope skips by a dog in one minute is 91, by Geronimo, a two-year-old female Border Collie and Kelpie cross, achieved with her owner Samantha Valle (USA) on 13 May 2012.

Geronimo also shattered the doggy double-dutch record!

Most double-dutch style skips by a dog in one minute

The most double-dutch style skips by a dog in one minute is 128 and was also achieved by ‘Geronimo’ and her owner, Samantha Valle on the set of NBC’s “Today” in New York, New York, USA on 7 April 2014.

Highest jump by a dog

The highest jump by a dog is 191.7 cm (75.5 in), and was achieved by Feather in Frederick, Maryland, USA, on 14 September 2017.

Most skips by a dog and person in one minute — single rope

Most skips by a dog and person in one minute using a single rope is 59, and was achieved by Jessica and her owner Rachael Grylls, in Lewdown, UK, on 1 December 2016.

Fastest time to pop 100 balloons by a dog

The fastest time to pop 100 balloons by a dog is 28.22 sec, and was achieved by Loughren Christmas Star (Toby) and Christie Springs in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on 9 April 2017.
