“I’ve got a dog here!” a Russian anchorwoman announced when an attention-seeking dog crashed her live news broadcast in an apparent search for some love and pets!

Dog Crashed Live News Broadcast

Mir24 TV news anchor, Ilona Linarte was detailing serious news about a demolition in Moscow when a loud bark from beneath her news desk startled her.

Imagine her shock when she turned to see an exuberant black Lab vying for her attention – and perhaps a little air time. Although she tried to remain professional and continue reporting the news, the dog had other plans…

Watch the exchange here:

“I’ve got a dog here,” Linarte said in Russian. “What is this dog doing in the studio?”

Apparently, the now-famous pup was with a human guest appearing on another show being filmed in the same studio when he got loose and made his television debut on the local news instead.

Although the adorable exchange was welcomed by entertained viewers, don’t expect the anchor to have a canine co-anchor anytime soon.

“I actually prefer cats,” she told viewers. “I’m a cat lady.”
